With your help, the Orpheum Foundation develops and sustains burgeoning international careers

The Orpheum Foundation does not receive any funds from public authorities, but is solely financed through sponsoring, donations from private individuals and through ticket sales. It enjoys the moral support of the city of Zurich, of Zurich Tourism and of the Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zurich, however the Foundation is dependent on different forms of participation.

The Orpheum idea is now well-recognised and has repeatedly justified its existence through its work. Its advancement programme helps highly talented musicians to find a way forward in their careers. Conductors such as Mariss Jansons believe that it is harder now than ever before for young musicians to find recognition and to be able to live from their art. Orpheum regards the difficult position of young artists as a challenge to make a greater commitment to help them, and invites you to embrace and support the Orpheum idea. You can do this in many different ways.
