In this year’s special concert, the Orpheum Foundation presents a further two exceptional talents from the current generation of young soloists: the Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang who was forced to cancel at short notice last year due to an injury and the French pianist David Kadouch. Accompaniment will be provided by the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich under the direction of its chief conductor David Zinman. The works performed will be Sibelius’ Violin Concerto and Beethoven’s 5th Piano Concerto. The Orpheum Special Concert 2010 thus promises to be an exceptional musical experience.
